Moody Brook barracks. At 6:08 am the black clad Argentine Buzo Tactico forces launched a surprize ( House clearing ) attack on the barracks here at Moody Brook. The invaders simaltaniously kicked in all doors and windows before throwing in white phosphorus Grenades and following them up with long bursts of automatic fire. Fortunetly Major Mike Norman, commanding officer of the Falklands garrison known as Naval Party 8901 had earlier abandoned the barracks, and moved his 68 men to Government House to take up defensive positions there, and to protect the Governer : His Exellency Rex Hunt.
