Mount Sugarloaf (or Sugarloaf Mountain) State Reservation affords an excellent view of the Connecticut River Valley.

This was the location for scenes of the Mel Gibson film, "Edge of Darkness." The pavilion atop the mount was dressed as the headquarters of the Northmoor organisation.
