I've been into this base. One of the silos is now completely full of water. The interior of the dry silos are in good order. After decommissioning the base was used by Carver County as a place for firefighters to practice putting out chemical fires.

I was stationed there from 1961 to 1964.
I was a launch panel operator, Assistant section chief and Sergeant of the guard at one time. Had to wear many hats.
