The mural is telling the story of the homecoming to Copenhagen from Rome of the World famous sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen September 17. 1838.
Hist most famous works are the tomb of Pope Pius VII in St. Peters Basilica in Rome and the statue of Christ used bu the LDS church. The original of that statue you can see in the cathedral of Copenhagen.
