The Brotherhood of the Santísimo Cristo de La Expiración and Our Lady María Santísima de los Dolores Coronada has it origins in the 18th century, however its golden age in Holy Week began in 1920 when the two Brotherhoods of the aforementioned images joined to form the present-day Brotherhood. It joined the processions in 1921 on Holy Week Wednesday. Its Brotherhood House was built in the 60s, where the museum was installed, in a building annexed to the parish church of San Pedro. On 4th February 1968 the museum was completed on the ground floor of this building.
