The Museu Marítim is located in the old shipwharfs of Barcelona, which are part of the rich naval history of Spain. It's a marvellous building and the only well preserved specimen of this typical type of mediterranean structure.

The main subject in the museum is of course the naval history of Barcelona itself but there are also exhibitions of art that have something to do with the sea. Also there's a planetarium.
