This house and the surrounding neighborhood were used to film several scenes in the 2009 film "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done?" starring Michael Shannon, Willem Dafoe, Chloë Sevigny, and Michael Peña.

Produced by David Lynch, the story is loosely based on the true story of Mark Yavorsky (played by Shannon). Yavorsky killed his mother with an antique saber in 1979. He was later found innocent by reason of insanity. The film does not depict the murder, but instead tells the story before and afterwards.
