Naomi and Wynonna were signed to RCA Nashville in 1983 and released six studio albums under the name The Judds. They became one of the most successful country music acts in the world, receiving five Grammy Awards, nine Country Music Awards, and charting fourteen number-one songs on the BIllboard Hot Country Songs. Naomi Judd was diagnosed with hepatitis C in 1991, and the band broke up soon after. Their final concert was the most successful musical event in pay-per-view history.
