American singer, songwriter, actress and author Naomi Judd’s house was located on a 1,000-acre farm near Nashville, Tennessee. Her famous daughters, Wynonna and Ashley, also have homes on the farm. They have owned the farm for nearly three decades.

Naomi Judd’s net worth was $25 million at the time of her death. Known primarily for being half of the country music duo The Judds, along with Wynonna, she also had a prolific career as an actress, writer, and television producer.

Naomi Judd was born in Ashland Kentucky in 1946. Her first child, Christina Ciminella (later known as Wynonna Judd) was born when she was 18 years old. Wynonna and her half-sister Ashley were primarily raised by Naomi as a single mother in Lagunitas, California while she attended nursing school at College of Marin.

Naomi and Wynonna were signed to RCA Nashville in 1983 and released six studio albums under the name The Judds. They became one of the most successful country music acts in the world, receiving five Grammy Awards, nine Country Music Awards, and charting fourteen number-one songs on the BIllboard Hot Country Songs. Naomi Judd was diagnosed with hepatitis C in 1991, and the band broke up soon after. Their final concert was the most successful musical event in pay-per-view history.

Naomi Judd had a successful television career after her music career, starring in several TV movies and appearing on such shows as 3rd Rock from the Sun, Touched by an Angel, and Frasier.

Naomi Judd was married to Michael Ciminella from 1964-1972, with whom she shares daughter Ashley. She was married again in 1989 to Larry Strickland. They remained married until she died in 2022 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
