National Museum (Wrocław)

National Museum in Wroclaw is one of the main museums in Wroclaw carrying on the tradition of German museums that had been existing in city since the XIX century. The museum collections include mainly painting and sculpture with particular emphasis on the art of Silesia. National Museum has got one of the biggest collections of modern art in Poland. The permanent exhibition of Polish modern art is a presentation of the work of artists that had a big influence on the development of fine arts in the XX century.
