Ned Skeldon Stadium

Ned Skeldon Stadium

Maumee, Ohio (OH), US
The home of the Toledo Mud Hens minor league baseball team from 1965 to 2002 when their new downtown stadium opened. The stadium was built on the existing county fairgrounds racetrack and so the grandstand on the first base side is different from the third base side. Some folks thought it was just fine for minor league baseball while others believed the stadium configuration was a bit odd. Some local baseball is played here nowadays but in the not too distant future this stadium will probably no longer exist.
