Never Used Railway Embankment

The embankment was a part of a planned railway that would have gone from Copenhagen, through Slangerup and terminus at Hvalsø. The construction of the railway started, but half way through the construction the company building the railway ran out of money and the construction of the railway came to a halt. The construction of the railway never continued.

Today you can still see supposed embankments, bridges, cuttings and even stations along the route.
