The Tar Heel woman's program is known as one of the best in the nation, but the men's program is garnering respect too. The men's team have won two NCAA National Championships in 2001 and 2010 and are always a lock to make the Tournament. Notable alumni include: Eddie Pope, Omar Holness, Dax McCarty and Greg Berhalter.
