Oakland Aviation Museum

Oakland, California (CA), US
The largest plane outside is a Solent Flying-Boat. It is a former submarine chaser turned luxury passenger liner in the 1940s, complete with a fringe-trimmed bar and pink powder room, that flew wealthy travelers to exotic ports. It was once owned by Howard Hughes and it was featured in the movies in the early 1980s with Harrison Ford for a scene in "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
