Omaha Civic Auditorium

The Omaha Civic Auditorium was downtown Omaha's first arena and convention center. The facility had stood strong in the midst of downtown revitalization and proven its presence is necessary in the community.

The Omaha Beef, an indoor pro-football team, and Creighton University women's basketball and volleyball teams also call the Omaha Civic Auditorium their home.

From sporting events to concerts, car and boat shows, to dog shows and craft shows, the Omaha Civic Auditorium was a true original that offers something for everyone.

It opened in 1954, closed in 2014, and demolished in 2016.
