Packard's garage ("Birthplace of Silicon Valley")

Packard's garage, is a museum where Hewlett-Packard was founded. Is now considered to be the "Birthplace of Silicon Valley". It has been restored at the original property, at 367 Addison Avenue, Palo Alto, California, near Stanford University, as it was in 1939 when Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard used it. They had rented the property specifically for their needs, as it provided garage workshop with a 3-room ground floor apartment for the newly married Dave and Lucile Packard
