Palazzo di Giustizia

Palazzo di Giustizia

Rome, Italy (IT)
The Palazzo di Giustizia is a gorgeous structure located on the south side of the Tiber River just west of Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican.

Erected in 1888-1911 by Guglielmo Cauldrons, is the seat of the Supreme Court. Romans call the building "Palazzaccio" because of its huge dimensions and exaggerated decorations that weight down the architectonic lines.
