? -- Shouldn't maybe this be titled something like:
[official stadium name] with Paris Writing

I see the stadium much more important to the eye than 5 letters that aren't that easy to see.

What's the stadium???

It's not the same thing. If you want to post another stadium you can post this one with another thumbnail and the title "Stade Jean Bouin".
I prefer the "Writing" category than the "stadium" one. (You know, bored rounded buildings with grass in the middle for people who want to run after balls)

Okay, I prefer the stadium category but I see your point, although this could fit into both categories -- Writing & Soccer (football.)

But you know what stadiums often mean? They often mean professional sports. Children often look up to famous athletes and want to be like them. Children often make it to big rounded buildings with grass coming from slums and poor families, coming from a place with little hope for a better life. They work hard throughout their lives to become better at a game they like to play, hopefully someday to get paid the big bucks when they are able to provide for their families. Yes, many become the elite rich celebrities in society but many professional athletes give back to poor communities they came from. Not all are angels like this but many are and that's where sport has its value in society.

What does the Writing category do for society?

Promote sports is a political choice. For example yesterday, France team won a footbal match on the World cup. Today in the news 45 mn about that. And nothing about the rest of the World and the real news.

What does the "airplanes in flight" category do for society?

How's that?

dda, Unless it's a sports news channel, i certainly don't agree that 45 minutes should have been spent talking about one football win without getting to other matters of human importance. There've been times when I've wondered just what the heck is the importance of sports? More than giving kids a shot at a good life, it gives some people a little relief from matters in their own lives that may be giving them stress... the same way theatre does for some, or reading, or art, or making birdhouses to sell at flea markets, etc. Sports also provides jobs outside of the players on the field, from office management to food and beverage people, bus drivers, logo clothes makers, and many more.

I'm not saying sports is the most important thing in the world, far from it... but it does have value! It might not be your slice of cheese, my friend, but that's cool.

Ciao :)
