He entered the video business in its early days as director of sales for Paramount's burgeoning home video division in 1980. He moved to Media Home Entertainment in 1982 as VP of sales and marketing, helping it grow into a $30 million independent supplier. In 1984, he became president of the start-up video division at the trend-setting New World Pictures. He moved to Columbia TriStar Home Video in 1989 as executive VP, quadrupling business at the sony-owned unit to make it into a billion-dollar company. In May, he became executive VP for VM Labs and coo of its Nuon group.

The home is on sale in 2010 for $5,950,000.
