This theme was the challenge issued for the 7th San Agustin Ceramic Event, an annual ceramic competition held by the City of Aviles, Spain. Thirty-three artists from the region of Asturias including teachers and students of the Municipal Ceramics School of Aviles and nearly all members of the Ceramic Group of Asturias responded by creating individual tiles utilizing diverse techniques and styles.
