Goritsky Monastery of Dormition of Mother of God in Pereslavl-Zalessky, Russia (Russian: Переславльский Горицкий Успенский монастырь) is a Russian Orthodox monastery, founded by St. Eudoxia of Moscow in 1392. No original architecture was preserved. The present ensemble took shape in the 17th and 18th centuries, when the Monastery influence was spreading east and west of Pereslavl-Zalessky. The Cathedral of the Dormition was built in the 1750s.
