Rack 'em up and shoot pool at Pete's Bar in Neptune Beach. That's what locals and visitors have been doing since 1933. Owned by the same family and housed in the same location, little has changed at Pete's over the years. Yes, that's a good thing because the pool tables are plentiful (eight of them), the drinks are strong and cheap and the company is good. A full bar with beer and wine is available from 10AM to 2AM with package goods available to go. What sets Pete apart from the others (besides the smoky atmosphere, which will soon dissipate with newly installed SmokeEaters) is the fact that everyone is the same. Rich or poor, young or old, everyone's welcome at Pete's for cool pool and cheap drinks.
