Filming location used in the 1987 adventure-comedy, Planes, Trains & Automobiles." The film starred, Steve Martin, John Candy and Laila Robins.

In the film, John Candy and Steve Martin check in to the Braidwood Inn. Because of the lack of rooms, John Candy's character and Steve Martin's character are forced to share the same bed, which featured the “they’re not pillows” scene.

There has been some debate as to this location, but after looking at several different video clips of the motel, I am 95% positive that this is the location of the motel in the film.

The appearance has changed some over the years. The front awning is different and it looks like they painted the exterior.
