Filming location for the 1984 comedy, "Police Academy." The film starred Steve Guttenberg, Kim Cattrall, G.W. Bailey, Bubba Smith and Michael Winslow as the guy who makes sound effects with his mouth.
The fictional police academy building was in fact Lakeshore Asylum in Toronto, Canada. Since filming Humber College has moved in and taken over all the buildings to make this their Lakeshore Campus.
