Located east of Algiers near/in? Tamentfoust... surely this has a proper name but finding info for Algerian places isn't easy!

It's the port of "La Pérouse" near the Cap Matifou.

Wow. La Pérouse? That wasn't even on the map I was using and I had no other to go by. I could have sworn it's Tamentfoust. It's an interesting looking area, along with much of Algiers. After a week or so of slowly working over much of the landscape, I'm almost making plans for a couple weeks long exploration of the land.

Ok. You're right. It's the port of Tamentfoust. La Pérouse is the old name. I've checked an old french colonial map. Sorry.
Thanks to change the name.

Good work, dda! I wasn't even 100% sure it was Tamentfoust. The map I was using wasn't specifically the Alger area, not even Northern Algeria... it was a somewhat non-specific map that you can zoom out and see half of Earth at a time! Unfortunately, unlike for America, detailed maps, and information in English, for certain countries are very difficult to find on the internet. (For example, I just found what looks like Algiers' only golf course. For America to find the name of it would be almost as simple as breathing, but after ten minutes of searching I still haven't found the name of this one.)
