Predator drone at remote test strip

El Mirage, California (CA), US
Quoted from the link below:
The MQ-1 Predator is a medium-altitude, long-endurance, remotely piloted aircraft. The MQ-1's primary mission is interdiction and conducting armed reconnaissance against critical, perishable targets. When the MQ-1 is not actively pursuing its primary mission, it acts as the Joint Forces Air Component Commander-owned theater asset for reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition in support of the Joint Forces commander.

I think this new format will lead to hundreds of interesting new maps. The new layout makes it effortless to flip from one map provider to the next. So if there's not something of interest in one, you have 3x the chances of finding it in the other maps, not to mention the 4 compass views of BEV.

I geuss I relly don't understand the difference between this and:

http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/6612/

and this:

http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/30652/

To me all three of these are the same thing because they all lead to the exact same Google image.

This is new imagery It is most similar to:
http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/30652/

The other documents the airport and its use as a predator test site which is completely different.

Probably the submitter could have just submitted a new thumbnail to replace the old imagery. s it is we just mark the old one 'no longer there' since it is based on old imagery.
