Hi - this is the former RAF Churchstanton.

I did a little Googling and it looks like both names were used.
"Churchstanton Aerodrome, built in 1940, was used by allied fighter aircraft during WW2 and had 3 runways and 2 observation buildings. The site was renamed Culmhead in 1943 because of confusion with another RAF base at Churchfenton, Yorkshire." Parabellum (unable to login) |

It was a CSHQ listening post during the cold war. Supposedly no longer in use.
