The RDV Sportsplex Athletic Club complex is a 350,000 square foot mecca for sports, health, and fitness that has 2 ice rinks, multiple swimming pools, tennis courts, pro shops and salons, and child care. The facility is named after Orlando Magic owner Rich DeVos and has served as the home of the Magic since its opening in February of 1998. It is a multi-faceted, public/private facility that houses both the Magic practice facility and its front-office operations. It also serves as a high-tech athletic club for the general public. The Sportsplex also serves as a branch of Florida Hospital and hosts the UCF Knights (University of Central Florida) affiliated travel ice hockey team.
