A 2005 partnership agreement between LauritzenCool, J. Lauritzen’s reefer transport company, and NYK Reefers produced NYKLauritzenCool, which is today one of the world’s largest reefer operators. With a fleet of more than 70 specialised reefer vessels of various sizes, NYKLauritzenCool provides temperature-controlled ocean transport of perishable commodities for customers in all major reefer markets. The company is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and has support offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, UK and USA, many of which also provide terminals and cold store facilities.
