Richard Johnson is Managing Director & Principal, Head of Strategic Business Development at GCM, a $5 billion investment manager. Prior to joining GCM in February 2008, Mr. Johnson was the Managing Director, Head of Institutional Asset Gathering in the U.S. for Citi Alternative Investments (“CAI”). At Citi, he was responsible for the growth of CAI's Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Hedge Fund businesses, which grew to $60 billion under management during his tenure.
