English boxer and fight promoter Ricky Hatton’s house is a £2 million mansion in Gee Cross, Hyde, Manchester in England. He purchased the house in 2008 after his nearby home proved to lack the privacy required for his fame. Though he invested almost £1 million in security in this home upon moving in, the home was burglarized in 2015. Rolex watches and large amounts of cash were stolen during the burglary. The house is nicknamed “Heartbreak Hotel” after the Elvis Presley song of the same name.

Ricky Hatton’s net worth is $40 million. He has earned $65 million in fight purses during his career, including a $20 million paycheck for his loss to Manny Pacquaio in 2009.

Hatton grew up in Greater Manchester. He was born in Stockport and raised in Hyde. He had a short amateur boxing career and turned professional at the age of 18. His debut, on September 11, 1997, was a first-round TKO win over Colin McAuley. He won his first international title in 1999, defeating Dillon Carew for the WBO inter-continental light-welterweight title. He would go on to a 43-0 record with several impressive wins including a knockout win over Jose Castillo in 2007. Hatton’s first loss came via TKO against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. in 2007 and he suffered two more losses to Manny Pacquaio and Vyacheslav Senchenko before retiring with a 45-3 record in 2012.

Ricky Hatton has a son, Campbell, with his ex-girlfriend Claire. Campbell is training to be a boxer like his father. Hatton currently lives with his girlfriend Jennifer Dooley.
