In the heart of the Ramapo Mountains. The park includes land and buildings of the once flourishing iron industry started in the mid-1700s. Buildings include historic Ringwood Manor House and Skylands Manor House. Also many outdoor activities such as hiking trails and swimming in Shepherd Lake.
