Robin Williams was a well known stand-up comedian, actor, screenwriter, and film producer.

He rose to fame in 1978 as an alien named Mork in Mork & Mindy, a 1978–1982 TV series. He had a successful career in both feature film acting and stand-up comedy. He starred in a number major films throughout his career. He was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award three times, winning once for his performance in Good Will Hunting. He also received several other awards, including two Screen Actors Guild Awards, four Golden Globes, two Emmys, and five Grammys.

He lived here with his wife, Susan Schneider, until his death on August 11, 2014.
