English musician Rod Stewart’s former house is a 10,000-square-foot, 6-bedroom, 6-and-5-half-bathroom Jacobean-style mansion in Essex, UK known as Wood House at Copped Hall estate. The 17-acre estate features rose gardens, a pergola, a heated pool, and a tennis court. Features of the home such as the fireplace, mantle and stained-glass windows date back to 1607. UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill is rumored to have stayed here during the Blitz. Stewart purchased the estate in 1986 for $1.58 million and sold it in 2019 to footballer Andy Carroll for £4.1million.

Stewart and his wife, model Penny Lancaster, currently reside in a different historic Essex home. They purchased the 18th-century manor Durrington House in Harlow for $6.25 million in 2013.
