This is one of the UK homes of Rocker Rod Stewart who bought Stargroves for £2.5million in 1998. Stargroves in East End, Newbury has much history, it was the 1970s country estate of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger. The Stones recorded there before their move to France in spring 1971. The band recorded a number of albums and singles at Stargroves, including songs for Exile On Main Street, Sticky Fingers and It's Only Rock 'n Roll.
