Plovdiv, Bulgaria (BG)
The theatre dates from the 2nd century AD and was uncovered in 1972 following a landslide. The amphitheatre was restored and is used once again for special events.

I believe this to be a theater not an ampitheater. An ampitheater is two theaters placed together with an elipical plane in the center where one would expect gladiators to fight. Similar to the Flavian Ampitheater in Rome. On the other hand this is a theater where on would go for classical drama.

Sincerly,
