Roman Walls of Caistor St Edmund

Roman Walls of Caistor St Edmund

Norwich, United Kingdom (GB)
Caistor St Edmund is a small village in modern-day England. Outside the small village are the remains of a Roman market town that was called Venta Icenorum. Not much of the actual town remains to this day. However, some sections of the wall still remain and the square-shaped structure of the market town is still clearly visible from the sky.

The village's local church and the graveyard are in the south-east corner of the what would have been the Roman market town.
