Ron & Michele Riggi's House

Ron & Michele Riggi's House

Saratoga Springs, New York (NY), US
This 20,000 sq. foot home is owned by Ron Riggi, CEO of Turbine Services Ltd., a firm that sells parts to GE. Riggi allegedly paid $3.825 million for the five-bedroom, six-and-half-bath home at 36 Stony Brook Drive in Meadowbrook Estates, a luxury development on the city's east side. His wife Michele Riggi is a local socialite who runs a company called Posh Palazzo Pups, where she sells books and other materials to raise money for local animal shelters and charities. Mrs. Riggi owns 36 dogs herself.

The Riggis caused a kerfuffle when they purchased a Civil War-era home adjacent to their property and bulldozed it to make way for a large lawn for Michele Riggi's dogs to roam free. Mrs. Riggi has the lawn heated year-round so her dogs will never have to worry about snow. This would draw the ire of the neighborhood, being the subject of scathing blog posts and online attacks. Seems the tight knit and buttoned up community of Saratoga Springs wasn’t ready for the diva socialite. There goes the neighborhood.

The Riggis have christened their home "Palazzo Riggi". It is an impressive home with quite the historic value.Their son Chris is also an actor who has had roles on Gossip Girl and in Vampires Suck.

In recent news the FBI on executed a search at the Old Gick Road building that houses a business connected to local businessmen and twin brothers Ronald and Vincent Riggi. At one point, Ronald Riggi came out and spoke to the agents at the building's front door. Ronald Riggi had been the CEO of the private company for years, but his current title was not immediately known. A campaign disclosure statement from 2015 listed him as retired. Riggi stayed tight lipped and made no comment about the situation however.
