This is Safdarjang Airport, formerly known as Willingdon Airfield, and used by light aviation and helicopters. There have been plans to redevelop the site. |

I passed by the airstrip on the 20/08/05 but could see only helicopters. Also note the displaced threshold for runway 30 about halfway down the strip which I assume was/is to provide enough height for a safe approach over the Flyover, still looks like a rather hairy approach to me though. Is there anybody out there flying light aircraft from here? |
