Sam the Cowboy

This cowboy muffler man stands in front of the Cadet restaurant. The statue was purchased and erected here in 1962. He is named after a patrol officer who worked in the area.

In 1990, the fiberglass statue was severely damaged by a traffic accident. It was stored in pieces for many years until it was repaired in 2002.
