American author and cartoonist Scott Adams’ house is a 7,000-square-foot mansion in Danville, California. The house features a basketball court, a one-acre backyard, and a wall shaped like Dilbert, the comic-strip character he created.

Scott Adams' net worth is $50 million. He created the daily comic strip Dilbert in 1989 and by the year 2000, Dilbert was running in 2,000 newspapers in 57 countries. The success of Dilbert has led to additional revenue from merchandise sales and even an animated television series. Adams has also written and published several non-Dilbert books, including a novel. Adams is the CEO of Scott Adams Food, Inc, which produces vegetarian dishes, and manages a business called WhenHub, which aims to help people monetize their expertise in various fields.

Scott Adams was born in Windham, New York and received a BA in Economics from Hartwick College in 1979. He moved to California and earned an MBA from University of California, Berkeley in 1986. He worked for telephone company Pacific Bell from 1986-1995, during which time created Dilbert. The Dilbert TV series, on which Adams served as executive producer and showrunner, ran on UPN from 1998-2000. He has written several books on topics including business, religion, and politics. After a 2015 blog post predicting Donald Trump’s successful presidential bid, Adams political commentary through various social media channels has received a large amount of attention. His daily program “Coffee with Scott Adams” received over 27 million views on YouTube.

Scott Adams has been married twice, to Shelly Miles from 2006-2014 and to Kristina Basham in July 2020. Adams announced on his YouTube channel in March 2022 that he and Basham were getting divorced.
