SeaQuarium

SeaQuarium

Weston-super-Mare, United Kingdom (GB)
The Weston-Super-Mare SeaQuarium was opened in 1995, and was placed upon the first seaside pier to be built in Great Britain for over 85 years. Situated on the beach, the aquarium is surrounded by 3 miles of sand along the coast of Somerset, with panoramic views across the estuary of Wales.

The centre contains an underwater tunnel, providing visitors with a closer look into the depths of our oceans with sharks, rays and other creatures swimming past, just inches away. It contains over 25 displays throughout the aquarium where visitors can see the beauty and terror of the oceans and creatures from the Severn estuary to the wonders of the rainforest rivers.
