Segedunum Roman Fort

Segedunum Roman Fort (StreetView)
Segedunum was a Roman fort along Hadrian's Wall in Northern England. The fort was built c. 122 AD and abandoned c. 400 AD. The fortress fromed the eastern end of the wall.

Foundations of the fort are visible to this day and a modern road goes through the top of the fort. Foundations can be seen on both sides of the road.
