Severalls Hospital

Severalls Asylum in Colchester, Essex was opened in 1913 to hold 1800 patients. The hospital site consisted of a large central hall, sadly set fire to, patient rooms, and adminstrative offices, connected by a network of corridors, and there were villa-style wards.

The site closed in the mid 1990's and lies completely derelict, redevelopment is due to take place in the near future.
