Shadow of North Korean Fighter in flight

Democratic People's Republic of Korea (KP)
Never fails, after spending the greater part of an hour searching for the actual fighter and coming up empty, someone will find it within minutes of my post. Here's wishing you luck.

With the higher resolution available since this image was posted, I'm led to wonder if this is not the actual fighter plane rather than a shadow of a mystery plane.

I was sorting through the old images for No Longer There images, and the current image clearly shows a plane in this exact spot. Which makes it very interesting to wonder why there was a black "shadow" of a plane previously, but now a fully visible plane. And then there is the issue of whether this is actually a plane in flight, or sitting parked.

If it's in flight, then the only explanation I can think of is that it was edited out of the old imagery, which does not make a lot of sense.

But I'm more inclined to think it is parked. The rest of the current image does not match the thumbnail that well, implying (in my mind) that we have two sets of images separated by time. But this implies that the "shadow" in the old imagery was actually there on the ground. But how, and more particularly why, would someone black out a plane like that. If it was camouflage, it was a very poor job of such.

Weird all around.

You are absolutely right. Definitely a different image and perhaps plane than the first imagery. Perhaps it is on static display and was removed for a time for repainting and refurbishing. Also, the scale compared to the surrounding buildings seem to me to be way out of whack. Looks like there is an AA emplacement right next to it. Perhaps it's a decoy.
