Shallowfield Horticulture Show in progress

The two-day event is organised by a dedicated group of members and friends of Swallowfield Horticultural Society, some of whom cross many counties to reach us. Thanks to the Society's Patron, David Bowyer, it is being held on our usual site in Spencers Wood.

The Main Arena features on both days Elaine Hill with her ducks and sheepdogs. On Sunday we welcome the Cumberland Giants and on Monday the Kangaroo Gymnasts. This is the first time that these two acts have been to Swallowfield Show. Supporting acts are the Birds of Bray, Parades of Vintage Vehicles, Marching Bands, and Terrier Racing organised by Jo Burdett.

Live music continues both afternoons at the Bandstand with performances from the local New Tones Big Band on Sunday and Johnny Gunner and the Raiders on Monday.
