This 1000 yard (914 m) hill climb race course is the oldest operational motorsports venue in the world. It was the first purpose built motorsports venue in history and the first to feature electronic timekeeping.

Cars have been racing up this course since 1905. From start to finish, drivers climb 328 feet (100 m). On the satellite photo, the middle of the course disappears in the wooded area, but the final straight to the finish line is visible to the south.

This was featured on the BBC TV show Top Gear in 2014 (Series 21, Episode 1).
