On December 31st, 1982, the Panamanian cargo ship JOHANNA, built in 1958 by Heinrich Brand Schiffswerft GmbH and owned at the time of her loss by Jocor S.A., on voyage from Rotterdam to Barry, was lost after running aground 200 yards off Harland Point.
