Milton Sidley is a Los Angeles lawyer and property investor and landlord.

Sidley is probably best known for his actions in 2005. He had been renting out a vacant lot he owned for $2,500/mo, a very low price for the lot. The non-profit organization renting from him had used the property to house Dome City -- a small village used to house some of the city's homeless. When Sidley, a Democrat, found out that the president of the non-profit organization was a Republican who supported then president George W. Bush, he raised the rent to more than $18,000/mo which the organization was unable to afford.

Apparently Mr Sidley died in 2019 and the house is in the market for $20,000,000. There is an article in the WSJ (paywalled). However looking up the address, you can find the listing which includes lots of interesting interior shots of the house. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/27929-Winding-Way-Malibu-CA-90265/20555832_zpid/
