This park is just off the Beltway east of Washington, D.C. It started in 1982 as Wild World. Water rides were the main attraction in the early years, but thrill rides began to dominate. It's name was changed to Adventure World in 1990. Six Flags purchased it a few years ago, and in 1999 it became Six Flags America.
City should be either Largo or Mitchellville. When I was growing up in the area I remember the endless commercials for "Wild World in Largo MD..."
