Slangerup Station was a train station in Slangerup. It was build in 1906 as part of the "Slangerupbane" which means Slangerup track. Part of the track was open for trains, the other half was being build, but never opened. The track went from Copenhagen through Værløse, Farum and Lynge. 23 May 1956 the track from Farum to Slangerup was closed and replaced by a bus route. Today you can still see the remains of the track, even the remains of the never opened part can still be seen today.
